Hi Cristiano, I just want to say I feel really sad about your father. Losing your dad at such a young age must be very hard to deal with. I've got yor age and I wouldn't know what to do if my father would pass away at this time in my life. I know what it's like to lose someone and all I can say is, you'll get stronger out of this. Today may seem dark, but tomorrow will be better. It was so brave of you to play against Russia. I'm sure your father would be proud of you. Be strong... I'm thinking of you and your family at this difficult moment in your life. You're not alone... A big hug,Leen

You showed a lot of courage playing against Russia after learning of your father's death, and the Portuguese people are all very proud of you, and you and your family are in our prayers. Death is a natural part of life, and just know that your father is in a better place now, and he will always be with you in thought and spirit. God bless you and your family.

cristiano
You have such a beautiful family. im sorry that you lost your father. i admire you alot because even though you are a well known footballer, that doesnt stop you from doing helpful things such as visiting hospitals, doing charity work and donating money to the tsunami fund; and helpin the little boy who lost his family. i also admire the fact that if something goes wrong, you are always determined to do much better. For example in euro 2004 , even though portugal lost, you still came back stonger and now portugal are certain to qualify for the world cup!!! :D
So im sure you will get through this tough time - you have your family and your fans by your side - you need to be strong, like you were in the match against portugal. That was a very brave thing to do - im sure your father was looking down from heaven , proud of you , just like your family and fans are!! i know that whenever i wear my manchester united ronaldo football jersey - i wear it with pride since you are such a strong person - who im sure ALOT of people admire! I just want to let you know that you are not alone - everyone will experience this in their life. And your lucky to have alot of support given to you.
Thank you so much for being such an inspirational person. please be stong - you CAN and WILL get through this.
love saaima (again!!) xxxxxx

Hey! I'm sorry about the loss of you father. I can't imagine how it is loosing a parent at this point in your life when everything is going grate. Sometimes good things have to take a turn, like now. I can't say i now how it is to loose a near person, but i know it's hard. You'll have to remember that sad thing like this turns into good and long lasting memories. It's your turn to be the man of the family:) And take care of them as your father propably did! I can't even imagine how proud he was of you. Not many dads get the wish of his son to be a sucsessfull footballer, but yours did. And i think he past away with his mision complete on this earth, and that was to make your dream come true, to play football!

To Cristiano....
You may cry over what has been taken away.
But you must know that they are watching and can see you everyday.
Plenty more years and plenty more time.
To live your life and show him you can shine.
"I am so very sad for you and all your family having to cope with the loss of your father. Supporters and fans are with you all the way. Keep playing the way you are for Manchester United & Portugal. Your father will be watching you achieve everything you do in your career."

hello cristiano and family. Life can be hard but truely you have learned death is harder. Love is like war easy to begin and hard to end. It was your fathers time to go and rest with God. People may say your father had so much time to live. You only live once but if you live it right once is enough. I wish you strength through this time in your life...make your father proud.
Death is an instant pain but glory is forever......
All my love...Isabel

It can never be easy, dealing with losing a loved one, but may God be with you and the angels above take care of your father. Remember, he is watching over you now, and will always be there in your heart.
Seja forte e recorde que amor o manterá sempre vivo.
faça-o orgulhoso
Eu te amo sempre. Alex Da Silva
