Eric Cantona believes that Cristiano Ronaldo will only ever become a truly great player by increasing his workrate and hunger for goals.

The Portuguese winger took his seasonal tally to seven with a brace against Fulham at the weekend, but Cantona, along with other critics, argued that this only highlighted the fact that the 21-year-old should be a more regular scorer.
And Cantona suggested that by simply increasing his hunger and making runs off the ball into the box, Ronaldo could get 10 more goals a season and perhaps challenge the likes of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard as the top goalscoring midfielders.
